Today I celebrate 1 year since I met GodHatesNFTees. This is the first Medium I wrote in the early months:

What I have lived this last month is beyond all analysis. I started out laughing at the protest at NYCNFT2022 with my wife (at the time we thought it was serious). We immediately began to doubt and make jokes about the protest. I remember uploading a quick drawing parodying of the lady with the “Anti Metamasker” sign in Twitter. That seemed totally ironic to me.

Incredibly the next day people who later said they had nothing to do with this collection and tried to make it look like it could be a scam were amazed because a certain SrPeters had made some incredible drawings and was starting a project based on this protest. Thanks to them I found out about the project the first day, I started interacting on Twitter with this account, suddenly everything became so crazy and so requested that I was late for the first Discord entry and the first WL.

From there I only had one goal: Enter the discord, and I got it. Once inside I saw the most hilarious discord and I swear I haven’t laughed like this in a long time: The number of memes, GIFs, the creativity of the community, the trolling, 4Chan atmosphere, twitter spaces 24/7 and SrPeters making fun of people who asked him things like “We want to know a bit of you to trust the project”. I got the WL on the second lap and then everything got too strong. Sold Out of free mint in 3 seconds, Prizes for sweep the floor, SandBox buying NFTs from the collection at $5k, there was also a girl that we really don’t know what she was claiming, official twitter banned, official discord banned, new twitter, new discord, SrPeters giving hints of an M1 and a 1 BAYC and 2 MAYC giveaway with the launch, leaks of possible M2 and M3, a TESLA and $1M in prizes and giveaways, and new collections such as Voxel and inspirations in genius and fighter women to help the movement.

Collaboration with Hasbulla was the latest news and the community can’t stop singing: “This is amazing lalala”. In the middle a bit of drama, like any good narrative, but what most has the community in suspense is a rumor that SrPeters will release a movie on Netflix about everything he was doing with a basic cybersecurity approach in web3 . Personally, I already earned being part of the community, I made incredible contacts (my twitter went from 50 followers to 700 in just 2 weeks after being more than 1 year in the metaverse) and my wallet went from being that of an amateur to that of someone who learned a little.

I will continue studying Solidity because I believe that blockchain is the future and especially in Ethereum. But I’ll also be looking forward to SrPeters in September (supposedly that’s when he comes to Argentina to record Netflix).
Amazing is how fast things change.
