The z00tz Anchor Club journey began as y00ts Yacht Club, a mashup of two popular NFT projects that exploded onto the Ethereum blockchain. Shortly after their massive success, the developers deleted the project Discord server and Twitter profile, running off with all raised funds, pulling the rug from under the community’s feet.
Club members held strong, with a migration of over 57% of all tokens to the new ZAC contract. In-house development and transparency were instrumental to the success of this months-long effort, with constant feedback from the community as the guiding compass.
Clearly the old name and stolen artwork have no place or longevity in web3; z00tz chose to take their own path, building a project from scratch where the community truly comes first. Now, with a new polished base, stunning traits and a non-linear Saga Map showcasing only a few of the member-inspired possibilities, the z00tz Anchor Club web3 journey is getting ready for lift off!
