What are Exiled DeGods?
Exiled DeGods originated from the first 2 presales of DeGods mint where different candy machines were used from the main mint. Due to a bug on Metaplex that did not let the team sign the Candy machine & update the metadata of the first 2500 DeGods, they were not able to join the main collection in the marketplace. The team then reminted all of the 2500 tradable DeGods and sent them to whoever held the original 2500 Exiled.Â
DeGods are a deflationary collection of degenerates, punks, and misfits powered by the Solana Blockchain. A DeGod gives holders the ability to mine $DUST, access to DeGods NFT tracking mobile app DYOR, membership into the DeGods community, and tons of other cool utilities. DeGods can also be converted to DeadGods with $DUST.
$DUST is the fuel that powers the entire DeGods ecosystem. The $DUST ecosystem that the team is building will involve buying, selling & minting blue-chip NFTs with $DUST. The team is also working on integrating $DUST as an accepted currency with top-tier marketplaces (Magic Eden & SolanArt), popular P2E/P2P games & metaverse projects.
The DeadGods are an upgrade from one DeGod. Simply the image of the DeGod will switch to the DeadGods art with the same attributes, but a new aesthetic. ‍It costs 1000 $DUST to upgrade to a DeadGod. DeadGods will earn 30 $DUST/day (vs 10 for DeGods).
DeGods is known for the origin of the Paper Hand Bitch Tax (PHBT) of 33.3%. This was originally made to punish DeGod holders who sell below mint. The proceeds from the tax would move to a Burn Wallet where it is unleashed at random intervals to buy and burn DeGods. This is the story of how 535 DeGods have been burnt to $DUST.
