Stardust is the off-chain utility token of the always-evolving Cosmic Cat Ecosystem!

How to earn Stardust: There are various ways you can earn Stardust, the first is by simply yielding it from holding Cosmic Cats, Cosmicverse planets or Mutations, and yes TRAITS MATTER!

Cosmicverse Overview

Cosmicverse is a land-based strategy project where players will build, upgrade and decorate their own 3D planets on-chain. When you land on your planet for the first time, you will have your Command Center and UFO. Your planet will begin passively yielding Stardust. From there you will be able to spend Stardust to purchase and upgrade buildings. There will be a multitude of different buildings to choose from; some will be used to generate natural resources found on your planet, some buildings will be used to defend your planet & others will offer customizable utilities to progress your planet and help you on your journey!

There will be 4 different main planet types. Each planet type will have its own unique features and different abundance of natural resources.

Your planet will have a set grid on which you can build and customize your planet’s layout. You will have to be strategic as to where you place these buildings because there may be obstacles in your way inhibiting you from building in certain areas.

Cosmicverse is broken down into achievable phases with phase 1 “The Cosmic Shop” out now! We will continue to provide the community with status updates over time!

Cosmic Cat Mutations

The Cosmic Cat Secret Society is a shadow organization in Cosmicverse. They are abducting different species from the Metaverse to experiment on! Secret Society's goals are to permanently alter their DNA to create a Super Cat species that is unstoppable!

The goal with our mutations was to build something Fun, unique, interactive, bring communities together and we did exactly that! We Call it Build-A-Cat because trait’s actually matter! Holders are able to go to our website and sign up your Cats for experimentation. During the experiment, you will have the option to create 4 different species in real time!

Standard Mutation: For standard Mutation, you will just need 2 Cosmic Cats. As you can see in the example below you will be able to choose what traits you want to carry over from each Cat, Creating a Newly Mutated Cat!

Fishy Fam Mutation: 2 Cosmic Cats + 1 Fishy Fam!

Deadfellaz Mutation: 2 Cosmic Cats + 1 DeadFellaz

Alien Fren Mutation: 2 Cosmic Cats + 1 Alien Fren

Our artist Skelligor recreated over 500 traits from Alien Frens, DeadFellaz & Fishy Fam in his own Cosmic Style to make this possible!

Hello Cosmic Cats! We are very excited to share what we have been working on over the past few months. We’re entering a new chapter of Cosmic Cats just in time for our 1 year anniversary! We can hardly believe it’s almost been a year since we first introduced the galaxy to these vibrant, energetic Cats.

In the past year, we’ve seen an incredible community form around Cosmic Cats, with hundreds of collectors from all over the world coming together to discover and own their pieces of Cosmic Cats. We want to thank each and every one of you for your support and enthusiasm for Cosmic Cats. Here’s to another year of exploring the Cosmicverse, discovering new possibilities, and making new friends. Cheers to the Cosmic Cats community! We are just getting started!!

3D & Pixel integration

We are excited to announce that each Cosmic Cat NFT will now include 3D and Pixel versions of your cat, integrated within the NFT itself. This means that each cat will have a 3D version, as well as a Pixel version, giving you even more ways to interact and enjoy your Cosmic Cats.

Once launched we will update the metadata to add your new 3D & Pixel versions of your Cosmic Cats. You will be able to view all 3 versions of your Cosmic Cat on opensea!

Our goal is to launch 3D Cats within the first week of February for our 1 year anniversary and Pixel Cats shortly after! Stay tuned for more updates posted on our Twitter and Discord

Cosmic Generator

Our Cosmic Generator is a tool to allow our community to take their digital identity to the next level! You will be able to make unique memes featuring your very own Cosmic Cat. Get ready to explore the cosmos and generate some out-of-this-world content.

Rebranding & Team Expansion

Over the next few months, Cosmic Cats will be going through external and internal changes. Our first step is to bring on two new team members. We have already announced last week we added Kanteltec to our core Cosmic Cat team as a designer! His first job with the team is producing the amazing 3D Cosmic Cats you saw above, after that, we plan to work together to update our branding assets like our social banners, logo, merch designs, and more! We are also actively looking to add a Community Manager to our team. Adding a Community Manager to the Cosmic Cats team can benefit the community in a number of ways. A community manager can help to foster a sense of community and engagement among Cosmic Cats holders by organizing events, and contests, Hosting Twitter spaces, and other interactive activities. They can also act as a liaison between the community and the Cosmic Cats team, ensuring that the community’s needs and feedback are heard and addressed. We understand how important these roles are to the success of the project that's why we will be offering them a % ownership of Cosmic Cats over time!

Cosmic Comics

This year we plan to heavily expand the lore of Cosmic Cats and bring the story of Cosmic Cats to life in a new way. We are excited to reveal that we will be releasing a comic book series, featuring the adventures of our Cosmic Cats!

This new comic book series will dive deeper into the world of Cosmicverse, revealing new details about the origins of the Cosmic Cats. You’ll get to see your favorite cats in action, and learn more about the rich history of Cosmicverse.

We can’t wait for you to experience this new way of exploring their world. Stay tuned for more information about the comic book series, including the release date, and how to get your hands on a copy!

Stardust

Stardust is the off-chain utility token of the always-evolving Cosmic Cat Ecosystem!

Starting NOW we are launching the Mothership where you can Easily view all your Cosmic Cats & Planets in one spot! The flight crew tab is your landing section when you arrive on the Mothership page. You’ll see all of your NFTs and the daily yield rates of each of them. Mutants will be added next week. Due to community feedback, we are making some minor changes regarding mutant yielding, this will go live between 1/23–1/27

Stardust Yielding
On the left sidebar, you will see your Current Yield, this is the amount of Stardust you can claim at this very moment. Your Daily Yield is the sum of all your NFTs yielding rates per day.

Each Cat & Planet will generate Stardust daily automatically, you will have to claim it to add it to your balance. Don’t worry, your Current Yield doesn’t expire and can be claimed at any time.

KEEP IN MIND — If you sell a cat that has yield remaining on it, you will NOT receive it after the sale. The new owner of the NFT you sold, will be able to claim that Stardust left on the cat or planet.

We have a tool you can use to view how much Stardust is on a cat or planet. One very important thing to keep in mind is that Ownership is updated every hour, so if you purchase a cat or planet it won’t be reflected on your Mothership page until the update has been made.

Stationing
When you navigate over to the stationing tab you can select a planet from the drop-down menu. You will see the planet appear and you can then select up to 3 Cosmic Cats to station on that planet. Once you’ve made your selection hit the “Station Cats” button and sign the message and you’re good to go. Your cats will now appear in the stationing location for that planet. Each cat you station will add 5 Stardust per day to the planet. For example, if you have 3 cats stationed on a planet your daily yield for that planet will increase by 15. You can have up to 3 cats stationed on a planet at once.

A Cat can only be stationed on ONE planet at a time. If you want to swap the cat over to another planet you’ll have to hit the “Remove Cats” button. When you click that it will remove all stationed cats from that planet.

There’s no limit to stationing or un-stationing — do it as often as you want.

Notice where it says Threat level!?? What could this mean!? If the threat level increases everyone will earn less Stardust until you lower it back down. Stay alert Cosmic Cats

Cosmic Shop

Now that you earned Stardust what can you do with it!? Stardust can be used to purchase various items in our Cosmic Shop like NFTs, and physical items like Merch and Whitelist. Since mint Cosmic Cats has given away over 100+ eth in prizes!

Going into V2 we will be making a few updates to the Cosmic Shop. Our goal is to make sure everybody has an opportunity to buy items no matter if you hold 1 or 100 Cats! Starting this month Shop restocks will take place EVERY month during the last week of the month and will contain more raffle items rather than buy now items.

Our next restock will take place between 1/27–1/31 and contain a ton of new exciting items like Custom tumblers, 3D commissions, Various NFTs, and even a Sappy Cat package that contains 1 custom 2D + 3D asset.

Part of our restructure will include a few logistic updates for Cosmicverse. To start, we will be cutting the supply of Cosmicverse in half. This means the new collection size will be 4444. We will be turning off the mint on 1/22 while we make updates and lay out a new marketing strategy.

We know everybody wants to know WEN GAMEPLAY!? Starting next month our DEV Dontblink will be releasing Monthly dev notes in our discord to update the community on the backend process. Our goal is to get playable content out ASAP. We are confident we will have the first couple of levels of Cosmicverse out by Q3, BUT to do this we had to make a few temporary changes. Originally we wanted holders to be able to drag and drop buildings where they want on their planets, this is the most time-consuming part. To get gameplay out sooner we will be generating your buildings in a set area for the time being. So start saving up your Stardust! You will need it to begin building.

while the mint is closed we plan to produce gameplay content and market the project before we reopen the mint. We will be hosting dedicated spaces soon to discuss this new plan in detail.

Twitter Spaces, Collaborations & Merch

We understand how important it is for our team to have a strong Twitter presence. I’m sure you noticed over the past couple of months I (Justin) have been extremely active on Twitter. We recently started a new twitter spaces show called Cosmic Talk. We plan to continue to host these spaces every single week and encourage our community and team to host their own spaces going into 2023! With our website updates, we will be adding a dedicated landing page where you can keep track of every planned space!

Collaborations

In 2022 we had the honor of collaborating with over 50 projects and we are excited to find new unique ways to continue to build those connections and form new ones! We have a ton of awesome collaborations planned for this year in Web3 AND Web2.
